But of course, there is more to this type of orange drink for these people than just being an effective cooling vehicle. It can be argued that orange smoothies are improved fresh orange juices; they are thus, oozing with bodily benefits. Here is a simple recipe of orange smoothie for you to try:
Your goal is to make your smoothie as thick as possible; and so, we advice that you freeze your oranges ahead of time. It does not matter whether your recipe book tells you to do this or not, this trick is proven to be effective in making your extract thicker. Once your oranges are cold enough, wash them and cut in bite size pieces. Then, prepare crushed ice. Crushed ice is best for smoothies but if you do not have crushed ice, you can always place ice cubes in a seal-able plastic bag and crush them using a hammer or a rolling pin.
After you have completed the ingredients, you are ready to blend. Take note that the blending order is important. Crushed ice must be put on the blender first, then the fruits. If you want more kick to your smoothie, you may add frozen yogurt into mixture too.
